Scholarships

Applications for scholarships are available by clicking on the link below, in the main office, and in Shared Documents on the Hinds Site. All completed scholarship applications are to be submitted to the Career Center Director on or before the due date on the application.

Scholarship applications are closed for 2017-2018.


Scholarships Available
VFW Scholarship
Any HCC senior planning to purse post-secondary education is eligible for the scholarship. Selection is made by a VFW committee.
Value- Approximately $400
Dan Rayshich Scholarship
Any HCC senior who plans to pursue post-secondary education are eligible. Selection is made according to HCC scholarship selection criteria.
Value-Dependent upon trust funds
George & Doris Kintzel Memorial Scholarship
HCC seniors with plans to pursue post-secondary education at a 2 or 4 year accredited institution are eligible. Selection is made according to Madison County Community Foundation scholarship selection criteria.
The MCCF form must be used.

Hinds Career Center Scholarship
(Sponsored by Coca-Cola)
Any HCC senior planning to pursue post-secondary education is eligible for the scholarship. Selection is made according to HCC scholarship selection criteria.
Value- Approximately $500
James Fouch Scholarship
HCC senior enrolled in Auto Services, Collision Repair, Welding, Precision Machines, or Construction with plans to pursue post-secondary education in a career-technical field are eligible.  Announcement of the recipient(s) is made at the respective high school awards night program.
Value- Dependent upon trust funds
Therese Fouch Scholarship
HCC seniors enrolled in Visual Graphics and Communications, Business Technology and Internships, Education Professions, Health Services I and II, or Criminal Justice with plans to pursue post-secondary education in a career-technical field are eligible.  Announcement of the recipient(s) is made at the respective high school awards night program.
Value- Dependent upon trust funds
Edna Maley Career-Technical Scholarships
HCC senior from Elwood Community High School  with plans to pursue post-secondary education in a career-technical field are eligible. Selection is made by the Elwood High School Alumni Association Scholarship Committee. Announcement of the recipient(s) is made at the Elwood High School awards night program.
Value- Dependent upon trust funds but will be significant
Hinds Career Center Student Advisory Scholarship 
Any HCC senior planning to pursue post-secondary education with a GPA of 2.5-3.5 is eligible for the scholarship.  Selection is made according to HCC scholarship selection criteria. Value - Dependent upon trust funds
